Helping users deposit with BTC Lightning on our Crypto Help page.

As the company rolled out Bitcoin deposits and payouts via the Lightning Network, we knew there was no existing help page to support this feature. Without proper documentation, both users and Help Center agents would face uncertainty around transaction steps, timings, and troubleshooting.

This Quick case study outlines how I created a dedicated BTC Lightning Help page to provide clarity, reduce friction, and serve as a training tool for both end-users and support staff. By simplifying complex crypto concepts and centralizing knowledge, the goal was to build confidence, ensure smooth adoption, and lower the learning curve for all stakeholders.

Final Thoughts

This project took place over 6–8 months and required full ownership of the design process, from early discovery to final delivery. I led multiple discovery sessions to deeply understand the real problems around Bitcoin Lightning deposits, ensuring the solution was based on actual user and business needs rather than assumptions.

Throughout the project, I worked closely with stakeholders through ongoing presentations, feedback loops, and iterations. The constant back-and-forth helped refine the product, align on priorities, and balance technical constraints with usability and clarity.

Overall, this project highlights the value of strong ownership, structured discovery, and collaboration when designing for complex financial systems—especially in emerging technologies where trust, precision, and user confidence are critical.
